Dr. Robert Megna

Dr. Megna is the owner and director of Cardiovascular Health Solutions, a program specializing in cardiovascular and diabetes risk reduction and treatment, and Ferris Family Medicine, a family practice clinic.
He is one of the few physicians who holds certifications by both the American Board of Clinical Lipidology (Diplomate, American Board of Clinical Lipidology) and is a Certified Hypertension Specialist. Dr. Megna has a Fellowship and Master’s Degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine and an Advanced Fellowship in Anti-aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Megna has been in private practice for over thirty five years. His focus on preventative health and wellness, utilizing an integrative approach with lifestyle modification, nutriceutical, and pharmaceutical care is what sets him apart. He has extensive experience in the use of advanced cardiovascular and metabolic diagnostic and laboratory testing in his clinical practice. Dr. Megna is a popular and prolific national speaker on advanced lipid and cardio metabolic biomarkers. His unique experience is based on his vast knowledge of advanced testing and its clinical application within the practice of medicine. Dr. Megna is married to his wife, Bridget, and together they have two sons, Seth and John.
Carolyn Milligan

Carolyn Milligan wanted to be a nurse since she was in grade school. She graduated from nursing school at Texas Women’s University in 1980 and then from the University of Texas Health Science Center of Dallas in 1995 as a nurse practitioner. In 1999, she completed her Masters in Nursing and received her certification in Family Practice.
Carolyn has worked for FFM since 2001. She loves the ability to care for families over the course of many years and FFM’s focus on health promotion and disease prevention. Carolyn has worked at the new, Cardiovascular Health Solutions side of the clinic since it opened in the fall of 2015, and she is passionate about empowering patients to reach their health goals.Carolyn hopes to become a Certified Diabetic Nurse Educator within the coming year. She and her husband, Joe, have four grown children.
